LCV Victory Fund Launches $200K TV Ad Campaign Against Joe Heck

Ad Hits Heck on His Opposition to Creating Clean Energy Jobs in Nevada

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Victory Fund, which works to elect candidates who will implement sound environmental policies, launched a $200,000 ad buy in Nevada’s 3rd district hitting House candidate Joe Heck for his opposition to creating clean energy jobs in Nevada. The TV ad will be running in the Las Vegas media market.

“Joe Heck believes that the role of Congress is not to create jobs and if elected, will do nothing to create clean energy jobs for Nevada workers or help reduce our dangerous dependence on oil,” said Tony Massaro, LCV Victory Fund Senior Vice President for Political Affairs. “Heck would prefer to stifle Nevada’s cutting-edge clean energy economy rather than promote policies that would create jobs and increase investments in the state’s already profitable renewable industries.”
